How to Get Rid of Uric Acid Symptoms Fast

Welcome back! I'm so glad that you're finding "Natural Gout Remedies" so useful. John Cielo

In this post I’m going to show you how to get rid of uric acid symptoms with 3 simple tips, that don’t require the use of drug-based medication.

Firstly, what exactly are uric acid symptoms?

Really, what we’re talking about here are the symptoms of gout, because gout is caused by the formation of urate crystals in your joints as a result of having high levels of uric acid in your body.

So what are the symptoms of gout?

These are stiffness, swelling, redness, heat, inflammation and extreme pain. The pain can be so bad that you can’t even bear the light ’brush’ of  a bed sheet on the affected joint, for instance.

And how do you get rid of these uric acid symptoms of gout?

In order to really understand how to eliminate these symptoms you also need to know how uric acid is produced…

Uric acid is produced as a direct result of the breakdown of chemical compounds in your body we call ‘purines.’ These form a very important part of your metabolizing process.

But they also exist in the food your eat in varying concentrations. That is, some foods are higher in purines than others.

Tip #1 A Low Purine Diet

So this leads us to our first way to get rid of uric acid, or at least reduce uric acid in the body, and that is to change to a low-purine diet that avoids foods that have higher levels of purines.

Foods with high purine levels are things such as meat (especially organ meats and game), fish (especially mackerel, sardines, anchovies and sardines), all shellfish, poultry (especially turkey and goose), broth and consomme, legumes, and some vegetables such as cauliflower, asparagus, spinach and mushrooms. You can get a more detailed list in a previous post High Uric Acid Foods to Avoid if You Have Gout.

Note: Change over to a low-purine diet gradually; don’t crash diet as this can make your gout symptoms even worse!

Tip #2 Eat Lots of Cherries

Cherries are well known to be able to reduce inflammation (one of the symptoms of gout) and also to actually help lower the uric acid levels in your body quite quickly.

Some studies suggest that eating between 30 and 40 cherries every 4 hours during a gout attack will help quell your uric acid symptoms.

Tip #3 Drink Lots and Lots of Water

A dehydrated body is more prone to high uric acid levels and thus gout attacks. Water helps your kidneys to excrete excess uric acid more efficiently, and, can actually help to prevent urate crystals forming in the first place.

Drink a minimum of 3 litres of water daily, more during hot weather. Try to space your intake evenly throughout the day for best results.

These are 3 very simple, but nevertheless, very effective tips on how to get rid of uric acid symptoms during a gout attack. There are many more that you can find throughout this website.

But as well as getting rid of the symptoms during an attack, you have to ensure that your gout doesn’t keep returning time and time again. Why?…

Well, apart from the excruciating pain, frequently recurring gout can eventually lead to permanently damaged joints and other problems such as painful kidney stones and other kidney problems.

You don’t have to figure out how to do this for yourself, because the Gout Remedy Report has done it all for you. Just click here to download your copy today.

How to Stop Gout in 5 Easy Steps

Searching for natural tips on how to stop gout? Then you’ve landed at the right place because, here, you’ll discover 5 simple steps to stop gout pain in it’s tracks.

There are many ways to stop gout naturally, many of them contained in this website, but here I explain 5 of the best ways to stop gout…

Step 1. Drink Lots of Water.

As a gout sufferer you need to drink at least 3 litres of water a day. But you mustn’t drink that amount in just two or three goes, but rather, you need to spread the glasses evenly throughout the day.

Water is vital in combating gout because it helps to prevent uric acid crystal formation in your joints, and, it helps your kidneys to flush excess uric acid from your body much more effectively.

Step 2. Get Down to Your Ideal Weight.

If you are overweight, then your body has much more tissue to breakdown during your body’s normal metabolism process.  This then produces much more uric acid than if you were at your healthy weight.

So, if you are overweight (appropriate to your body size), you need to lose some of that fat and get down to your ideal weight.

Step 3. Take Regular Daily Exercise.

Taking regular, daily exercise will do several things: it will help you to lose weight, plus, it will also help you to strengthen your tendons and muscles around your joints, and, it will aid in the process of breaking down early crystal formation.

Step 4. Reduce or Avoid Alcohol Completely.

It is well known that alcohol is a top trigger for gout. There are studies that show that people who drink more than 2 units of alcohol regularly have higher uric acid levels than people who don’t. And when they reduce their consumption, their uric acid levels also reduce.

So if you can you must avoid alcohol, or, at the very least, reduce your consumption considerably.

Step 5. Change to a Low-Purine Diet.

As you know gout is caused by urate crystals in your joints that form when you have high uric acid levels in your body. And uric acid is a byproduct of the metabolizing process that involves chemical compounds called ‘purines’ in your body.

But purines also exist in our foods, so that a gout sufferer needs to reduce the amount of purines ingested through food. This means changing to a low-purine diet by substantially reducing and even avoiding foods that are high and very high in purines. You can get information on low and high purine foods here.

These 5 steps are very important, but they aren’t the end of the matter, as there are a number of other issues that you need to address in order to completely prevent your gout from reoccurring.

And the prevention of recurring gout is very important because of the permanent joint damage, and other things like kidney problems, that frequently recurring gout can cause.
