(3) Cherries. One of my favorite home remedies. Eat between 30 to 40 cherries every 4 hours during and attack. They have natural anti-inflammatory and uric acid reducing properties. You can also take concentrated cherry juice that you’ll get from your local health food store.
These all work on treating the symptoms during an attack. But you also need to prevent those attacks from happening time and time again. And not just for the sake of the pain and discomfort. But also for the prevention of serious problems along the road, such as agonizing kidney stones, other kidney problems and permanent damage to your affected joints.
